The Tap Is Leaking. Don't Change It in A Hurry. It Can Be Fixed in A Few Minutes

1. The gap at the faucet junction is leaking. It may be that the contact place is not tightened. Tighten the screw and try.
2. If the water outlet of the faucet leaks, the sealing tape may be damaged. Take down the faucet with pliers and roll a new water stop tape at the place of the fixing screw.
3. If the sealing ring of the faucet is broken, it will also cause water leakage. It is necessary to replace the sealing ring with a new one and screw down the packing nut with a wrench. The sealing ring is an "O" shaped rubber sheet, and there are also thin ropes or metal wires wrapped around the valve core under the packing nut. If it is broken, take it down and replace it with a new one, and then tighten the nut. It is better to smear a little vaseline oil on the threads and nuts of the valve core before tightening the nut.
4. The damage of the shaft gasket inside the faucet will also lead to water leakage. Remove the gland of the faucet, take out the worn shaft gasket with a clip and replace it with a new one.
5. If the valve seat is broken, the place where the faucet contacts the table will leak. Of course, you can choose to replace the whole faucet or only one valve seat. It is easy to remove the valve seat with a wrench. If it cannot be removed, insert a valve seat sleeve that can slide into the appropriate position of the old valve seat and provide sealing. There are two types of seat rollers or grinders that can flatten worn seats. Only when the valve core is removed can the grinder be used. Turn it clockwise several times with appropriate force to wipe off the falling metal chips.
