Dec 12, 2021
1. Testing Equipment: Single Handle Life Tester
2. Scope: Ceramic cartridge faucets
3.1 Technical requirement----GB18145-2014<Ceramic Sealed faucet>
Cold water temperature | ≤30℃ |
Hot water temperature | (65±2)℃ |
The outlet flow rate is adjusted to | (6±1)L/min |
Static pressure of cold and hot water pipes | (0.4±0.05)MPa |
Rotation Angle Per Second | (60±5)°/s |
Residence time (Position 5, 6) | (5±0.5)s |
Movement direction change time | (0.5±0.5)s |
The torque applied to the handle switch and flow adjustment direction by the automatic device of the equipment | ≤3Nm |
PH value of water | 8±1 |
3.2 Fix the product on the test equipment and keep using mode, connect the water inlet hose, and adjust the tooling and fixture activity stroke.
3.3 Adjust and set the experimental parameters according to the above 3.1 requirements, supply both cold and hot water at the same time, turn on the machine to test.
3.4 Check the test motion track of the machine, and it must meet the requirements of the figure on the left.
One complete cycle includes three switch movements.

Start from the middle position 0, open the faucet and close it to complete a switch action. That means from 0-1-2, turn to position 3 of cold water in the closed state, open the switch to 4, and while opening turn to position 5 of hot water. Delay 5 seconds, after turning to position 6 of cold water. Delay 5 seconds, turn off the faucet to position 7, and turn to position 8 of hot water in the closed state. And complete a switch action at the hot water position, that is, from 8-9-10. At the closed state turns to 11, which means it returns to the original position 0. After these steps, the faucet has completed a life test.
3.5 The entire test process needs to be patrolled regularly, and the monitoring parameters and abnormal status during the test process are truthfully recorded in the original record sheet as the basis for issuing the test report.
