How Does The Faucet Control The Water? What Is The Structure And Principle?

We can see that the structural diagram of the basin is still very complex. It is a single ceramic valve core surface, which is mainly composed of handle, valve core, water inlet braided pipe and installation accessories. It also includes some sealing rings, screws and so on.

Working principle of ceramic valve core:

Generally, the bottom of the ceramic valve core is composed of three holes, of which two holes are used for inlet and outlet of cold water, the other for inlet and outlet of hot water, and the remaining one for outlet water inside the valve core.

The cold and hot holes of the faucet valve core are provided with sealing rings to ensure that they are sealed with the inclined street of the main body. After the main body of the cold and hot inlet pipe is connected, ensure that the hot water pipe and cold water pipe correspond to the two holes of the valve core one by one. The valve core mainly controls the opening and closing state of the two holes and works by moving the ceramic plate. Where the water quality is not very good, the impurities can be filtered by installing a filter screen, which also prevents the possible damage of impurities to the ceramic valve core. There are two installation positions of filter screen: water inlet and water outlet.

Because there are many types and classifications of faucets, the design of faucets with different classifications is very different, so the faucet structure diagram is completely different. Therefore, we should first recognize the types of faucets. Generally, the faucets we use in our daily life are: single faucet, double faucet and triple faucet. According to the different handles, they can also be divided into single handle and double handle faucets. These different faucets are very different in the faucet structure diagram, so we should first classify them and then understand the relevant faucet structure diagram. Let's take the bathtub faucet as an example.

Bathtub faucet

The bathtub faucet uses s displacement to let water enter, but it still needs to enter the valve core first, and then flow into the main body from the valve core. The water enters the water hole on the left side of the commutator to open and close the water flow through the commutator. The commutator realizes the function of switching the internal bubbler and shower channel of the main body through the cooperation between the sealing ring and the main body. Note that the center line of the commutator we see should be symmetrical. If it is asymmetric, there will be water leakage.
